Mike Berger – So glad to be here to listen to Crai speak. He is also thinking about hosting a fun night, MEN only, to compete with Pam’s ladies night.
Daniela – Her son is doing very well & he should be making a full recovery soon!
Janko – Celebrating his 10 year history with Rotary & his wife is finally here now to join him in the U.S.!
Speaker – Our very own Craig, with LAKE CONROE SPLASH
Craig and his wife started the company from nothing. His wife was a graphic designer & Craig had experience working with the Yellow Pages. It started out with just a music based edition to coincide with the Cynthia Woods Pavilion being built but as 105 began to be expanded they decided to create the Lake Conroe Splash. They enjoyed having the freedom to attend their children’s sporting & extracurricular events and not have a typical 9-5 shift.
The way things have evolved over the years in the printing industry is amazing, including the resources that are now available for printing in color at a much more affordable rate than previously.
This type of business is very unique for many reasons but one of those is that there is very little overhead, especially in their business because they don’t have to have other employees other than themselves. It’s a never losing business, so it’s just a matter of making enough money to cover the expenses.
