Melanie Michaelchuk talked about self-defense and introduce a variety of strategies to defend one self from attackers. Fighting can be an effective response to the threat of sexual assault; more effective than pleading or begging. She showed us how to identify area that are at risks and evaluate our strengths, and to explore our options for dealing with the threat of attacks. She talked about how to affectively do verbal and physical strategies. She also showed us items for defense like a stun gun compared to a taser gun to pepper spray.
